Do I Need a Lawyer to Incorporate?
No, a lawyer is not a legal requirement to incorporate.
You can even incorporate yourself by preparing and filing all the documents; however, it is a very time consuming job for a new business starter.
You also need to be thoroughly versed in the company laws of Hong Kong and their changes from time to time after incorporation.
You can use our service to incorporate to save your time and save money on lawyer fees. However, if you are unsure whether incorporation or which kind of business vehicles will benefit your business, or if you need to have tax planning consultation, we suggest you to consult a lawyer or accountant for their professional advice.


What Should I Name My Company?
Choose the name of your company carefully. It is very important that you portray the image you want for your new company. You are also required to avoid using any company name that may be too similar to any existing company or trademark.
A company name can be in English, in Chinese, or both in English and Chinese.
In cases where the liability of members is limited, whether limited by shares or guarantee, the name must end with "Limited".
A proposed company name cannot be the same as any of the existing name registered at the Companies Registry. For example, each group of company name below is considered the same


How Many Directors/Shareholders Do I Need?
The followings are the requirements to form and run a Hong Kong company pursuant to the Companies Ordinance:

· A company secretary.

· At least one directors.

· At least one shareholders.

However, the Ordinance provides that the same person can be acting as the company secretary, director and shareholder of a company.
A company secretary must be a Hong Kong resident or a Hong Kong incorporated company. If you incorporate through us, we will act as your company secretary by default.
A director or shareholder can be in any nationality and need not be a Hong Kong resident.

How Long Does it Take?

1. After you have completed our online order form and paid all service fees, you will receive a confirmation either by email, fax or voice call within 24 hours on the availability of your proposed company name.

2. You will receive a set of documents by UPS for you to sign within 1-2 days depending on your location.

3. After we have received your completed and signed documents, it normally takes 6 working days to issue the certificate of incorporation by the Companies Registry. The company is legally existed on the date printed on the certificate of incorporation.

4. It takes another 1 week to issue the business registration certificate by the Inland Revenue Department and to order company kit including M&A booklets, statutory book, share certificates, company chop and common seal.


What Are the Procedures to Incorporate?

1. Complete our order form online.

2. Pay the service fees according to our payment instructions.

3. Wait for the result of company name check by us.

4. Receive a set of incorporating documents by courier.

5. Sign all documents according to the instructions and send them back to us.

6. Receive a company kit by courier containing the certificate of incorporation, business registration certificate, statutory book, share certificates, company chop, common seal and M&A booklets.

How Can I Open a Bank Account in Hong Kong?
The procedure and the kind of documents required by each bank are somehow different. Please contact the bank directly to get more detail information.
Some banks required certified true copy of corporate documents for opening of bank account. We can provide them to you if needed.

What Additional Licenses Do I Need?
Business registration certificate is a required business license for almost any type of business in Hong Kong. It is issued by the Inland Revenue Department of Hong Kong. If you incorporate through us, we will help you to apply for a business registration certificate for your business.
